How to Integrate PayPal Checkout in Your Website

If you're looking to accept payments for products or services, run a donation-based website, or have another platform that requires payment processing, you might consider integrating PayPal checkout into your project. 

The PayPal checkout component allows you to easily customize the settings to meet your needs. In this article, you will find the adjustment options for both the selling and donating options of the component.



Using PayPal Integration for selling purposes:


  1. Click the +component button
    Select PayPal from the list
    Choose a type of component that matches selling

  2. Hover the button that says "Pay Now" and click the settings icon to adjust the integration

  3. Add PayPal email and account details: To ensure that payments are directed to the correct account, simply add your PayPal email and account information to the component

  4. Choose the type of button: The component offers two options for buttons: "pay" and "donate." If you select the "pay" button, your customers can make payments for the products or services you offer:

     If you choose the "donate" button, your website visitors can make donations to your cause or organization.


Using PayPal Integration for Donating

Step 1: Locate the section where you want to add the donation component. Click the "+component" button to access the available options.


Step 2: From the list of available components, choose "PayPal" as the desired option for donation purposes. This selection will allow you to collect donations securely via PayPal:

Step 3: Configuring the Component. After selecting the PayPal component, you can further customize its settings to meet your specific requirements. Hover over the component and click the settings icon to access the configuration options:

Step 4: Adding PayPal Email and Account Details In the configuration menu, you will find options to input your PayPal email and account information. This step ensures that the received payments are correctly directed to your PayPal account. Fill in the required details accordingly


Step 5: Customizing the Donation Component To make the donation component more engaging and effective, you have customization options available. You can include a compelling headline, such as "Your little help can make a big difference," to encourage visitors to donate. Additionally, consider providing your organization's name and a donation ID for better tracking:

Step 6: Allowing Donation Amount Selection Depending on your preference, you can choose to allow users to donate a fixed amount or set their own donation amount. Adjust this setting to align with your donation campaign goals.


You will be able to adjust the button color settings for both donation and selling purposes. You can select one of the default PayPal colors or switch to your colors to make the button more customized for your website
