How do I get the AI to generate a specific character across multiple scenes?

Creating a consistent character is key to professional storytelling. While AI naturally likes to "re-imagine" characters in every scene, you can maintain a consistent look using these methods:

1. Use a Detailed Character Description
The most effective way to keep a character consistent is to be very specific. Instead of just saying "a man," create a "character profile" and copy-paste it into every scene prompt. By giving the AI the same set of specific "ingredients" (hair color, clothing, age), it is much more likely to generate a similar-looking person each time.

2. Use Reference Images

If you have a specific face or person in mind, use the Reference Image(s) upload option. By providing these images, you give the AI a constant visual anchor for the character’s facial features and clothing.

3. Use "First and Last Frame" Guides
For precise control over how a character looks and moves, use the First and Last Frame features (available for most high-end models):

First Frame: Upload an image to define exactly how the character looks at the start of the scene.

Last Frame: Upload a second image to define their appearance or position at the end of the scene.

The Result: The AI will "fill in the blanks" (interpolate) the motion between these two frames, keeping the character’s identity perfectly intact.

4. Keep "Smart Project Match" Enabled

The simplest way to stay consistent is to keep the Smart Project Match toggle ON. This ensures each new scene automatically adapts to your project’s established style, characters, and mood, acting as a "visual memory" for the AI.

5. Quick Fixes with Smart Edit
If a character looks slightly "off," you don't need to regenerate the whole scene. Just ask the Smart Edit assistant to fix it—for example: "Change the character's hair color to match Scene 1."

Pro Tip:
Consistency is easiest when you stick to the same AI Model for the whole project. Changing models can change the "art style" of your character, even if you use the exact same prompt!
